Agitar Names Gita Gupta to Lead Worldwide Marketing
Marketing Executive from Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP Brings Deep Enterprise Software Experience to Leader in Developer Testing
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., August 15, 2006—Agitar Software, the leader in enterprise developer testing, today announced Gita Gupta has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Reporting to CEO Jerry Rudisin, Gupta brings more than 14 years of enterprise software marketing experience from Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP in technology, product and field marketing.

Gupta has broad experience in product strategy, positioning, go-to-market planning and execution. After six years at Oracle, focused on database technology and analytics, she spent five years at Vantive and PeopleSoft, in product management and marketing for CRM solutions and core technology. Following PeopleSoft, Gupta spent over three years at SAP, where she held a number of senior management roles focused on solution strategy, go-to-market planning and execution. Most recently, Gupta served as vice president of global field marketing at SAP, where she led the team focused on field marketing for strategic new products, including Duet, SAP xApp Analytics and SAP CRM on-demand solutions.
