Agitar Releases Latest Version with Enhanced Hudson and Helios Support

Release Focuses on Latest Eclipse Support, Easier Builds, Higher Coverage, and Better Tests

NOVEMBER 3, 2010 - CRANSTON, RI - Agitar Technologies has announced the release of AgitarOne 5.2, the latest installment of their leading JUnit generation and software ‘Agitation’ solution.

AgitarOne now provides support for Eclipse 3.6 (Helios) compatible IDEs with the use of Sun JDK 1.4.2 through 1.6 and IBM JDK 1.4.2 through 1.6. This includes IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) and Rational Software Architect (RSA) 8.0, which use IBM JDK 1.6.

This latest version also provides a Hudson continuous integration export wizard plugin. AgitarOne had previously supported Hudson, but the wizard makes it even easier to configure a Hudson job to build an AgitarOne-enabled project. Much like CruiseControl, which AgitarOne has long-supported, Hudson provides an easy-to-use continuous integration system, making it faster to integrate changes to the project, and obtain fresh builds.

In addition to the new Hudson plugin and support for Eclipse 3.6, AgitarOne 5.2 has improved concrete mock analysis for even higher coverage, and has enhanced processing of Generics to provide better tests for certain syntax. For those who prefer working from the Command-line, AgitarOne now has a command-line export tool for ant builds.
