Agitar Technologies releases dashboard reports with quality metrics for each of our commercial products. These are updated on a monthly basis. In addition to our own products, we also provide quality dashboards for prominent open-source Java projects.
Our goal is to increase software quality by making it more visible, with metrics that can be compared across different projects, products, and vendors. We do this because we believe it is in the industry's best interest to publish software quality metrics. It's better for customers and users. And it promotes healthy competition among suppliers.
Agitar's open quality data is focused on unit testing, ensuring that the basic building-blocks of your software have been fully tested and have predictable behavior. While no single metric can be used to signify quality, we look at coverage and classes with test points as a good starting point, since they indicate comprehensiveness of your existing tests.
